Hot 10 Recap - Week of 5/30/26

NEW YORK (AP) - Drake has tightened his grip on the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated May 30, 2026, claiming seven of the top 10 positions and continuing one of the most commercially dominant stretches of his career.

Leading the chart is "Janice STFU," a blistering and heavily discussed track that debuted at No. 1 after generating massive streaming totals and social media conversation throughout its release week. The song's sharp tone and viral appeal helped fuel one of the strongest single-week performances of the year.

At No. 2, Drake teams with Future and rising artist Molly Santana on "Ran To Atlanta," a melodic trap collaboration that benefited from strong playlist placement and heavy streaming momentum. The track gives Future another top-tier Billboard entry while introducing Molly Santana to a wider mainstream audience.

"Whisper My Name" lands at No. 3, showcasing a more restrained and introspective side of Drake. The song contrasts sharply with the aggressive tone of several other tracks in the top 10 and has resonated with fans drawn to the artist's emotionally driven material.

Another stylistic pivot arrives at No. 4 with "Shabang," a high-energy track that blends club-ready production with punchline-heavy verses. The song has quickly become a favorite in nightlife and social video spaces.

Breaking Drake's streak is country artist Ella Langley, whose single "Choosin' Texas" rises to No. 5. The track continues Langley's ascent within mainstream country music and marks another crossover moment for the genre on the all-format Hot 100 chart. Its radio growth and digital sales helped it remain competitive amid Drake's chart takeover.

Back on the rap side, "National Treasures" debuts at No. 6. The song leans heavily into themes of legacy and status, with Drake reflecting on longevity in hip-hop and the pressures of remaining at the top of the industry.

At No. 7 is "Make Them Cry," one of the darker entries among Drake's current releases. The emotionally charged track has sparked widespread online discussion because of its lyrical content and cinematic production style.

"Dust" arrives at No. 8, delivering a slower and moodier atmosphere compared with many of the week's higher-charting tracks. Fans and critics alike have pointed to the song's minimalist production as evidence of Drake's continued willingness to experiment sonically while maintaining commercial appeal.

The No. 9 position belongs to "2 Hard 4 The Radio," a title that appears to acknowledge Drake's complicated relationship with mainstream radio formats despite his longstanding chart success. The track nevertheless found significant traction on streaming services during its opening week.

Rounding out the top 10 is "Make Them Pay" at No. 10, another aggressive performance-driven track that helped cement Drake's overwhelming presence across the chart.

The latest Hot 100 reflects the increasingly streaming-driven nature of the music business, where major album releases can rapidly dominate the singles chart. Drake's seven entries in the top 10 further solidify his standing as one of the defining commercial forces of modern music.

Billboard's Hot 100 rankings are based on a combination of U.S. streaming activity, radio airplay and sales data.
