Buckeye Donuts Draws Record Crowds as Snowstorm Hits Ohio State Campus

Despite snowy weather this weekend, Buckeye Donuts was one of the few businesses open near Ohio State University's campus Sunday, drawing large crowds of students during the storm.
Some people trekked through the snow or even skied to the shop for a warm drink or donut. Owner Jimmy Barouxis said the shop sold more than 2,000 donuts.
"It was the busiest Sunday we have ever had, actually even busier than after a football game," Barouxis said. "It started around 11 a.m., and it was relentless."
By 10 p.m., the store had run out of food, Barouxis said.
Buckeye Donuts is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
