Justin Bieber Returns to the Grammy Stage With First Performance Since 2022

Justin Bieber will perform at the Grammy Awards this weekend, the Recording Academy confirmed Sunday. It will be Bieber's first performance at the event since the 64th annual ceremony in 2022.

Bieber is nominated for four Grammys this year, including album of the year for "Swag," his first album since "Justice" in 2021. He is also nominated for best pop vocal performance, best pop vocal album and best R&B performance.

Bieber's public performances have been rare in recent years during his hiatus between "Justice" and "Swag." He is scheduled to headline Coachella in April, which organizers have said will be one of the festival's largest in recent years. Tickets sold out quickly after going on sale last fall.

The Academy previously announced that Sabrina Carpenter, Clipse and Pharrell Williams will also perform during the ceremony. In addition, all eight nominees for best new artist will be featured: Addison Rae, Alex Warren, KATSEYE, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, SOMBR and The Mar as.

The Academy said more performers will be announced in the coming days.

The Grammy Awards will air live Sunday on CBS and Paramount+ beginning at 5 p.m. This marks the final year the ceremony will be broadcast on CBS, ending a decades-long partnership. The show will move to Disney next year. Trevor Noah will host for the last time, concluding a six-year tenure as master of ceremonies.
