Katseye will release "Wild," the group's third EP, on Aug. 14. The upcoming project follows last year's "Beautiful Chaos."
The announcement comes after Katseye made its Coachella debut last weekend, performing its latest single, "Pinky Up," and "Gnarly." The group was joined by the singing voices of Huntr/X from "KPop Demon Hunters"-EJAE, Rei Ami and Audrey Nuna-for a special performance of the Oscar-winning song "Golden." Katseye is scheduled to return to the Sahara stage Friday.
In addition to Coachella, Katseye is set to headline the Head In The Clouds and Hinterland music festivals and perform at The Governors Ball.
Earlier this week, the group received three nominations at the American Music Awards: new artist of the year, best music video (for "Gnarly") and breakthrough pop artist.
Formed through HYBE and Geffen Records' Dream Academy, Katseye rose to prominence as K-pop trainees on a reality competition series. The group became breakout performers shortly after, and earlier this year received a Grammy nomination for best new artist. Their song "Gabriela" was nominated for best pop duo/group performance.
Katseye has released two previous EPs: 2024's "SIS (Soft Is Strong)" and 2023's "Beautiful Chaos," as well as several singles. "Gnarly," co-written by Alice Longyu Gao, became their first track to reach the Billboard Hot 100 last year. Subsequent singles include "Gabriela," "Gameboy" and "Internet Girl," with "Internet Girl" debuting at No. 29 on the chart.
