Tony Neal and the Core DJ's truly delivered with this tribute to the founding mothers of hip-hop on Sunday night at MixShow live. With an incredible warm-up set by DJ Scratch who was joined onstage by DJ Red Alert and DJ Spinderella, the the crowd was on ten in anticipation of this legendary performance.

Hosted by the legend Busy Bee himself, a few legendary male emcees and Dj's were brought out to show their support for the Queens. The list included Greg Nice, DJ Nabs, ATL's own MC Shy D, DJ Grandmaster Dee of Whodini and Def Jef.

The ladies were then introduced and show was nothing short of spectacular. Roxanne Shante, who dropped a dope freestyle, MC Sha Rock, Sundance, Dimples D, Sweet Tee, Nikki D, Sparky D, Lisa Lee, Boss and surprise performance by So So Def's own Da Brat all made an appearance. The show emphasized unity and respect among all female emcees and they all urged younger female emcees to do the same. Appearances by DJ Spinderella and DJ Dime Piece rounded out the night and Female Core DJ member Fire joined the artists on stage to beatbox to give the crowd a performance that ATL will not soon forget.
