Avril Lavigne Rocks $80,000 Diamond Necklace Gifted From Tyga

Avril Lavigne wore an $80,000 custom diamond necklace that Tyga gifted to her in Manchester ahead of her sold-out show in the city on Saturday. The statement pendant features 50 carats of white diamonds, black diamonds, and pink sapphires. Jeweler Eric Mavani. designed the piece. She completed the outfit with VETEMENTS x New Rock platform boots and a black T-shirt dress with an orange logo on the front and her name on the arm.




Lavigne's tour of the U.K. and Europe was originally scheduled for 2020 but was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. She'll be wrapping up the series of shows on May 10 in London.

Lavigne has been dating Tyga since calling off her engagement to Mod Sun, earlier this year. A source for PEOPLE recently reported that the two are "very into each other," but also aren't rushing into a relationship. "They're still not exclusive and just getting to know each other. They're taking things very slowly to be on the safe side and really get to know each other before diving into something serious," the source said. "But they are spending a lot of time together. He's about to get locked in working on new music."




At the time of their split, Mod Sun said that the breakup came as a surprise to him. He addressed the situation in a statement on Instagram, thanking his fans for helping him get through the difficult period. "In 1 week my entire life completely changed. I just know there's a plan for it all," he said at the time. "I'll keep my head up + always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken [broken heart emoji]. Being surrounded by love every night on tour has been an absolute blessing. I have the best friends in the entire world, thanks for always having my back. See you on stage."
