Future Speaks On LeBron James Being A Huge Fan Of Him

As one of the most influential and beloved artists in the hip-hop world, Future's received no shortage of praise. However, one of his most die-hard celebrity fans is none other than basketball superstar (and arguable GOAT) LeBron James. Moreover, the Los Angeles Laker often spoke of or displayed his love for Hendrix over the years. For example, he practically only played his track "March Madness" during the summer of 2015, telling a fan at that time that it was his favorite song. While on The Beat with Ari Melber on MSNBC, Melber asked him specifically about that relationship and on "being the soundtrack to so many people's lives, including LeBron's big moments."

"It feel great," Future remarked about LeBron James and his continued support of his music. "It just make keep me going, give me inspiration and motivation to just stay in the studio and keep coming up with different tunes, you know. Making that music. I love when people say certain things about it, and it just inspire me, when they say things about me say things about my career. It definitely inspire me."

Future Appreciates LeBron James For His Support

Another prominent example of Bron's love for Pluto is his answer to a question posed by RapCaviar back in 2021. Furthermore, the post posited J. Cole, Drake, and of course Kendrick Lamar as the "three kings" of the 2010s decade, placing them on a Mount Rushmore. Still, that comparison left one spot remaining, and fans debated over who else was the most dominant artist of that decade for a variety of reasons. Unsurprisingly, LeBron didn't flinch with his answer. "Future Hendrix," he replied to the Twitter account. Maybe he already answered this question before, but it would be crazy to hear what the 38-year-old's favorite track from the "HOLY GHOST" MC is.

Much like Future's dominance of the 2010s, LeBron James has become one of the greatest players in NBA history. A lot of that work came in the same decade, and his revered place even in hip-hop culture is unsurprising. After 20 years in the league, he crafted one of the most significant legacies in sports in recent memory. There might be some who scoff at the comparison, but Hendrix proved many times in that decade- and this decade, for that matter- that you can't tell the story of modern hip-hop without him. Regardless of your take, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Future and LeBron James.
