Nicki Minaj And Husband Avoiding Assault Lawsuit

Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty are facing even more legal trouble. The pair allegedly failed to respond to a lawsuit filed against them earlier this year. The suit was filed by Thomas Weidenmüller, one of Nicki Minaj's former security guards. He claims that the couple physically and verbally assaulted him. The alleged assault took place in January 2022 during a concert in Frankfurt, Germany. Weidenmüller says that Minaj and Petty attacked him after a male fan breached a barricade and approached Minaj.




Weidenmüller was allegedly punched by Petty during the incident. The former security guard was hospitalized for over a week with a suspected broken jaw. He has had seven surgeries since. He is now seeking more than $700,000 from the couple. The plaintiff has requested a default judgment, but the Pettys have allegedly been difficult to track down. Apparently, Minaj is the only one against whom the judge has granted Weidenmüller a default judgment. The couple has yet to issue a public statement on the matter. This isn't the first legal issue for the Pettys.

For years, Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty have been plagued by his sexual assault conviction in the 90s. He was arrested in 2021 for not registering as a sex offender in the state of California. However, last year, a new video emerged where his accuser said that she was pressured into pressing charges. In other words, she said that Petty was innocent of the sexual assault crime for which he was convicted. The alleged victim, Jennifer Hough, went on record in the video to say that she attempted to have the charges dropped. When the news broke, many called for apologies to be made to both Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty.




On the post detailing the new lawsuit, many took to the comment section to let their thoughts on the matter be known. Many expressed their frustration at the seemingly endless legal issues Minaj has had since her marriage to Petty. "She never had this many legal issues before Kenny?
