Credit Karma Ordered To Pay $3Million To User Targeted With Fraudulent Pre-approval Offers

The Federal Trade Commission has had it with predatory behaviors of companies and services that claim to be helping consumers. The latest on their hit list, Credit Karma. The FTC has discovered that Credit Karma targeted its users with false promises of being "Pre-Approved" for credit cards, loans and lines of credit. Credit Karma has been ordered to pay $3Million in compensation to those of its users whose credit scores negatively impacted by the credit inquiries that occurred as a direct result of the Credit Karma targeting.. Read More
