What is KWANZAA?

The African American celebration of Kwanzaa officially begins December 26th and ends on January 1st. The Seven Principles of Kwanzaa;

• Umoja (Unity) 
• Kujichagulia (Self-Determination) 
• Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility) 
• Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics) 
• Nia (Purpose) 
• Kuumba (Creativity) 
• Imani (Faith)
