Mariah Carey is facing a lawsuit over alleged copyright infringement for her iconic holiday hit, "All I Want For Christmas Is You." This marks the second time songwriter Andy Stone, also known as Vince Vance, has filed a claim against Carey. Stone previously filed a similar lawsuit in 2022 but later withdrew it. In 1989, Stone released a song with his group Vince Vance & the Valiants bearing the same title. It gained popularity during Christmas 1993 and peaked at No. 52 on the US country singles chart in 1994. Mariah Carey's rendition of the song was recorded and released in 1994.
