Did You Miss My #JustATouchof_J 's Weekly Affirmation? Your Reflections Off!

This weeks affirmation comes from: (Proverbs 3:5-6) Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

So.. if you're reading this you've made it to see 2023! Shout! To God be the Glory! :)

I don't know if you heard my latest podcast but it was all about not being able to see yourself properly because your reflections off. Sometimes our perspective doesn't line up with Gods word and when this happens it enables us from seeing God, ourselves, and others correctly. This has a lot to do with the scripture above.

Trusting the Lord with all your heart and leaning not onto our own understanding makes a huge difference in our life. When we can see ourselves the way that the Lord sees us our vision is clear.

We tend to not run away from our problems and we don't use vices as coping mechanisms. We also extend healthy relationships with others, and we don't have an issue with acknowledging Gods will over our lives. Learning to let him direct our path becomes easy and we start to see ourselves as he's made us. (Psalms 139:14) Beautifully, fearfully, and wonderfully made In His image.

I can remember having a conversation with a young lady about praying in her troubled times. She said she didn't talk to God because He didn't want anything to do with her. She believed that her sins were so horrible that God couldn't forgive her for them. I told her don't believe the devils lies. God loves you.

I don't know who this is for but the Lord wants you to know that you're not seeing Him correctly because your reflection is off.

I encourage you to simply "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths."
