NYC Ends Food Debit Card Program For Migrants

According to city officials, a controversial voucher program for migrants in New York City to get food using debit cards is ending.

New York City announced that it will discontinue a program that gave vouchers to migrants to pay for food, putting an end to an initiative that had been long assailed by conservatives and associated pundits. The vouchers came in the form of prepaid debit cards.
