NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Three men were shot on the edge of the French Quarter on Thurs., May 23, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
The shooting happened around 1:55 p.m. in the 800 block of Canal Street, at the intersection where Cardonelet Street turns into Bourbon Street.
All three victims were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries to the stomach, hand, and buttocks.
A spokesperson for the NOPD says the shooting happened after a fight broke out between several people. Officials say one man pulled out a gun and started shooting.
