OFFSET LAUGHS OFF MAN'S CLAIM THAT HE CHECKED HIM VIA DM OVER AN IG COMMENT

Offset has reacted to a claim by an up-and-coming rapper in Atlanta that the Migos rapper checked him over a comment about his newly announced tour.

According to artist Soheem Perry, Offset DM'd him on Instagram after Perry commented on a previous post that he didn't think the rapper was big enough to headline a solo tour.

In a series of screenshots of their alleged interaction, Offset apparently messaged Perry "U hating fr," later adding, "I seen that comment u hatin ass n-gga."

While sharing the screenshot on his Instagram stories, Perry also wrote: "So this n-gga Offset bout to tear his ACL runnin to my DMs because I said he wasn't big enough to headline a tour."

In a follow up Instagram Story, Perry wrote: "So just to address the Offset shit real quick I said he couldn't headline a tour by himself & he DM'd me that I was a hoe. We don't even use lingo like that no more bro.

"I actually had respect for ya'll as a group I still feel like Migos was the biggest group of this generation but my respect level specifically for him is gone. Outta all the comments that he could have responded to he goes to mines when all I did was provide constructive criticism."

Perry then taunted the rapper: "Nobody is breaking the bank to go see Offset on tour and I'm standing on what I said. He woulda been better off goin on tour with his wife & being a guest on her tour but I'm assuming he ain't got that access no more."

Perry then appeared to provide more evidence of the DM's by showing his message folder on Instagram with Offset in there.

Offset's only response to the allegations came in the form of a comment on The Neighborhood Talk's post about the screenshots, to which he simply replied with several crying laughing emojis.

The 32-year-old recently announced that he'll be setting out on a North American trek in support of his sophomore LP this spring. The 17-date tour will commence on March 10 in Philadelphia and conclude exactly a month later in his home state with a show in Atlanta.

He will also be performing in cities such as New York, Dallas and Detroit. Tickets for Offset's tour can be purchased here.
