Young MC has finally closed the deal with his longtime girlfriend, and he even summoned a fellow musician to help him do so.
On Sunday (March 24), the New York City rapper married his partner Chantel at a low-profile wedding ceremony in Phoenix, Arizona. In addition to peers such as Tone L c, Rob Base and DJ Icy Ice showing up, Montell Jordan took on the role of celebrant.

"Marriage is a sacred, spiritual covenant that represents the promise that God's love never fails us," the 55-year-old singer said while officiating the union, before referencing his biggest hit by saying: "This is how we do it."

Check out the attendees bursting out into laughter at the above allusion by the Def Soul veteran, who became the worship leader at a church in Georgia back in 2010.

According to records obtained by HipHopDX, the R&B legend obtained a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada in early February after consulting his spiritual advisor, Amba Kahly Su.

The Atlanta superstar and his partner tied the knot at a private ceremony in Vegas right after his explosive set at the annual NFL event.

He was previously married to Tameka Foster between 2007 and 2009 and Grace Miguel between 2015 and 2018.

The 45-year-old crooner and Goicoechea have been together since 2019, with the couple welcoming their first child in 2020 and their second in 2021.

Usher previously spoke about their relationship to People, saying: "I have an amazing partner, a support system. We have an amazing dynamic between our relationship where I'm able to be passionate still about what I do and have an incredible partner to work through some of the harder times as a young man dealing with children and dealing with the dynamic of how you communicate with them."

He also praised her abilities as a parent: "She's better at it than me in many lights. I'm a man-man, so I'm like, 'This is what we're doing,' and I might be a little bit more disciplinary at times. If there's a slap and a hug, I'm the slap and she's the hug. But that creates balance."
