New Meat & Cheese Uncrustables Promise Easy Lunch Options for Families On the Go
J.M. Smucker Co. is adding a new treat to its famous Uncrustables brand.
The all-new Meat and Cheese Bites are making school lunches easier for parents and kids alike. These handheld stuffed sandwiches require no preparation, the same as the classic PB&J Uncrustables. However, instead of being packed with peanut butter and jelly, the Bites are loaded with uncured ham and cheddar or turkey and colby jack. While they do come frozen, they can be easily thawed out and ready to consume by the kiddos bustling lunch hour. No heat is neccesary.
J.M. Smucker Co. says they are focused on "continued innovation," and the Bites provide just that. The company has previously unveiled other meat Uncrustables, such as Taco Bites and Pepperoni Bites. With the success of these easy meals, the brand is confident that its deli sandwich-inspired Uncrustables will be its next best seller.
This is not the first time that ham and cheese have made their way to the brand. This year, the Uncrustables Uncured Ham & Cheddar Roll-Ups hit the market. While the concept is similar, the roll-up features the meat and cheese rolled up in the soft bread. The Roll-Ups were also available with turkey and colby jack.
Uncrustables Meat and Cheese Bites will make their grocery store debut in October.
