Police: Surviving Roommate in University of Idaho Killings Called 911

Idaho police say one of the surviving victims made the call to 911 that led to the discovery of four University of Idaho students found stabbed to death.

The City of Moscow PD clarified its statements, acknowledging the phone that was used to make the call belonged to a roommate whose identity has not been released.

The suspect who committed the four murders has yet to be identified and captured.

Police don't believe the surviving roommates were involved in the stabbings.

Authorities believe the murders occurred sometime around 3 AM, but the 911 call wasn't made until noon, TMZ reported.

The 11:58 AM, November 13 call requested assistance for an unconscious person but police say it was a bloodbath inside the location, with blood seeping through the walls onto the exterior of the house.

Multiple calls were made by some of the victims to a guy named Jack.

Detectives are in the process of obtaining surveillance video from 3 AM to 6 AM Sunday, November 13 and they're looking at nearby businesses and homes.

It seems some of the victims put up a fight, given they had defensive wounds. Police have said they think the victims were asleep when the attack started and feel it was a "targeted" attack.

Madison Mogen, 21, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; Kaylee Goncalves, 21, of Rathdrum, Idaho; Xana Kernodle, 20, of Post Falls, Idaho; Ethan Chapin, 20, of Mount Vernon, Washington, were killed in the attack. All of the women were roommates and Chapin was dating Kernodle.

Cops still haven't located the murder weapon.
