Bodies of Christian missionary couple killed in Haiti to return to the US
Plans are in place to transport the bodies of two Christian missionaries who were shot by gang members in Haiti back to their home town of Missouri this week.
The young couple, Davy and Natalie Lloyd were killed in an ambush in Port-au-Prince last week, where the pair served as part of Missions in Haiti Inc.
Haitian citizen and director of the missionary group, Jude Montis was also shot dead in the armed attack.
Missions in Haiti said the couple was leaving a church when they were ambushed by three trucks full of gang members.
Mob violence in Haiti's capital, Port-au-Prince, has seen a sharp rise in recent months, with armed gangs reportedly controlling more than 80 per cent of the city.
