Once On The FBI Most Wanted List Ex-Fraudster Bobby Khan Enters Race For Congress

Bobby Khan, a former celebrity car dealer who served time for wire fraud, is running for Congress in Nevada's 1st Congressional District. He is challenging the incumbent Democrat, Rep. Dina Titus, alongside other Republican candidates like state Sen. Carrie Buck and perennial candidate Jim Marchant. The primary is set for June 9, 2026.

Khan, who was once on the FBI's Most Wanted list for fraud charges related to his high-end car dealership in New Jersey, claims he was a victim of legal manipulation. Despite his past, he embraces his criminal record, using it as part of his campaign narrative. He emphasizes his experience with the justice system and advocates for prison reform, proposing initiatives like tax-free corporate employment for non-violent offenders to aid their reintegration.

His platform also includes tax exemptions for veterans and on gambling winnings. Khan, who now works as a consultant for law firms, moved to Las Vegas after his release in 2023. He identifies energy costs, inflation, and education as key issues for Nevada. Criticizing his Republican rivals as part of the "old guard," Khan positions himself as an outsider focused on fighting for the people rather than aligning with the political establishment.
