Palms Casino Resort Announces Closure of 3 Celebrity Chef Owned Establishments

Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas is undergoing significant changes with the upcoming closure of several dining establishments. Michael Symon's Mabel's Bar & Q is set to close next month, followed by the closure of Vetri Cucina on the 56th floor of the Ivory Tower and Laguna Pool House & Kitchen, along with Rojo Lounge at Palms Place. These closures result from mutual agreements not to extend the existing contracts with chefs Luke Palladino and Marc Vetri.

Vetri Cucina, a creation of James Beard Award-winner Marc Vetri, opened in November 2018 as a Las Vegas extension of his renowned Philadelphia restaurant. It temporarily closed during the pandemic and reopened in November 2022. Marc Vetri expressed gratitude for the experience and the relationships formed over the years.

Chef Luke Palladino introduced Laguna Pool House in April 2023, transforming the space with innovative cuisine and a vibrant atmosphere. After discussions with the Palms team, Palladino decided to close the venue on October 12. He thanked his team and supporters for their hard work and dedication.

Gregory Van Stone, vice president of food and beverage at the Palms, acknowledged the contributions of both chefs, emphasizing their roles in enhancing the resort's culinary offerings and experiences.
