Oakland Athletics Announce MLB Games at Las Vegas Ballpark for 2026 Season

The Oakland Athletics will host six regular-season MLB games at Las Vegas Ballpark next summer. The team announced it will play two three-game series: one against the Milwaukee Brewers from June 8 to 10 and another against the Colorado Rockies from June 12 to 14. These games mark the first regular-season appearances for the A's in Las Vegas, where they are building a $2 billion stadium expected to open for the 2028 season. This new venue is being constructed at the southeast corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue, with significant progress anticipated by next summer.
A's President Marc Badain noted the increased significance of these games compared to prior spring training matches held at the ballpark, emphasizing the community's excitement to see the full roster in action. The effort to bring these games to Las Vegas was significantly aided by Aviators president Don Logan, highlighting a strong collaboration with the local baseball community.
Ticket sales will initially be exclusive to Aviators season-ticket holders, followed by those on the A's 2028 season-ticket priority access list, with any remaining tickets available to the general public later. Meanwhile, the A's will play their other 75 home games at Sutter Health Park in Sacramento, California, following their departure from Oakland after the 2024 season. The team will begin the 2026 season on March 26 against the Toronto Blue Jays, with their home opener set for April 3 against the Houston Astros.
