Foghat and Nazareth will team up for a series of tour dates beginning in May 2026.
Foghat, known for its 1970s boogie rock sound and now led by founding drummer Roger Earl, has already played more than 20 shows this year as part of its Twang & Bang tour. The new dates with Nazareth are the latest additions, and the band says more shows may be announced.

History of Collaboration
Earl said the two bands have a long-standing relationship.
"They are such a great band," Earl said. "I got to be good friends with their original drummer, Darrell Sweet, back in the '70s, as we were both endorsed by Ludwig Drums and would meet up in Chicago. He was an outstanding drummer and one of the nicest people you could meet. Rest in peace to Darrell. We did a show with Nazareth last year, and these guys can play. They do not disappoint and we're really looking forward to these shows with them. It will be a good time for everyone."
Guitarist Bryan Bassett also recalled previous tours with Nazareth.
"In the mid-'90s when I was a member of Molly Hatchet, we did a lot of shows with Nazareth in Europe," Bassett said. "They were great guys and we had a lot of fun hanging out. I particularly remember having a few drinks on their tour bus. One funny moment: Nazareth had just arrived backstage and either Dan McCafferty or Pete Agnew asked, 'You got any vodka?' I said, 'No, sorry.' Pete replied, 'Ahhh, we never liked you anyway.' We all cracked up. It's little moments like that that make touring so much fun."
Bassett and vocalist Scott Holt, who also plays guitar, have been appearing in their YouTube series "Strings Attached," discussing various guitar topics.
Foghat released its most recent studio album, "Sonic Mojo," in 2023, which features collaborations with late Savoy Brown founder Kim Simmonds. In fall 2023, the band released an expanded edition of its 1975 album "Fool for the City" to mark its 50th anniversary.
