The Most Played Rock Songs of the 21st Century According to TouchTunes Jukebox Users

What are the top rock songs of the 21st century, according to TouchTunes jukebox plays?
TouchTunes has released data showing the 21 most-played rock songs on its jukeboxes since 2000. Unlike lists based on radio airplay or the opinions of critics, this ranking reflects user choices-people spending their own money to hear these songs in bars and restaurants.
To build the list, TouchTunes counted every paid play of a song tagged as "Rock" in its catalog. Only plays of songs released in 2000 or later were eligible. Live, acoustic, remix and featured-artist versions count separately from the original track. For example, Shinedown's "Simple Man (Acoustic)" appears as its own entry.
Here are the 21 most-played rock songs on TouchTunes jukeboxes since 2000:
1. Buckcherry, "Crazy Bitch"
2. Nickelback, "Rockstar"
3. Kid Rock, "All Summer Long"
4. Rehab, "Bartender Song (Sittin' at a Bar)"
5. 3 Doors Down, "Kryptonite"
6. Shinedown, "Simple Man (Acoustic)"
7. Nickelback, "How You Remind Me"
8. Evanescence, "Bring Me to Life"
9. Disturbed, "Down with the Sickness"
10. Kings of Leon, "Sex on Fire"
11. The White Stripes, "Seven Nation Army"
12. AWOLNATION, "Sail"
13. Uncle Kracker, "Follow Me"
14. Linkin Park, "In the End"
15. Train, "Drops of Jupiter"
16. The Killers, "Mr. Brightside"
17. Dropkick Murphys, "I'm Shipping Up to Boston"
18. Kid Rock, "You Never Met a Motherf---er Quite Like Me"
19. Staind, "It's Been Awhile"
20. Hinder, "Lips of an Angel"
21. Five Finger Death Punch, "Bad Company"
How does this list compare to critics' picks or radio airplay charts?
Rolling Stone's recent list of the 200 greatest 21st-century rock songs matched just four of TouchTunes' top 21. Only Linkin Park's "In the End," Evanescence's "Bring Me to Life," The Killers' "Mr. Brightside" and The White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army" landed on both lists. None of the top seven TouchTunes tracks made the Rolling Stone countdown.
Nickelback and Kid Rock each placed two songs in the TouchTunes top 21, but they rarely appear on critics' best-of lists. Fans seem eager to pay for Nickelback's "Rockstar" and "How You Remind Me," as well as Kid Rock's "All Summer Long" and "You Never Met a Motherf---er Quite Like Me."
The jukebox and radio worlds don't always agree. Buckcherry's "Crazy Bitch" took the No. 1 spot on TouchTunes, but only reached No. 13 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart and No. 3 on Mainstream Rock. Rehab's "Bartender Song (Sittin' at a Bar)" ranked No. 4 for jukebox plays, but peaked at No. 11 on Alternative Airplay and No. 22 on Mainstream Rock.
What does this say about your taste versus what critics or radio programmers push? Do you see your favorites on the list, or does it surprise you which songs people pay to play?
