Foghat Announces New Live Album and Nationwide Tour Dates Through 2027

Foghat will return to the stage Saturday, Oct. 10, following a brief break, with shows scheduled between Arizona and Virginia through the end of the year. The band also plans to release a new live album, "Live and Loud Across the U.S.A.," on Oct. 30.
Drummer Roger Earl, who co-founded Foghat in 1971, leads the group. The current lineup includes Scott Holt on vocals, Bryan Bassett on guitar and Rodney O'Quinn on bass. The band is headlining dates on the Twang and Bang Tour and performing select shows with Nazareth. Foghat will end its 2026 tour in St. Louis, Missouri, and has two concerts confirmed for 2027.
The upcoming live album is a three-disc vinyl set featuring performances recorded in 2024 and 2025. It also marks the physical release of 2018's "Shaken and Stirred," previously available only online, recorded under the name Earl and the Agitators. The album includes "My Babe," recorded in Ferndale, Washington.
Foghat's catalog includes five gold records and the platinum-certified 1975 album "Fool for the City." Original singer Dave Peverett and guitarist Rod Price died in the 2000s. Bassist Craig MacGregor died in 2018 after rejoining the band in 2005.
