Music fans waiting to watch the Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne concert film at home will soon get their chance. "Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning" will be released Dec. 17 on Blu-ray, alongside new vinyl and CD editions that feature live performances from the final shows.
The Blu-ray, which runs three and a half hours, comes with every version of the new album. Multiple versions will be available, each with different packaging and features.
Four vinyl options will be released, each with two LPs and two Blu-ray discs. The color of the vinyl depends on where you buy it. Options include standard black (available at all retailers), translucent silver/purple (independent record stores), purple/black splatter (Black Sabbath's website), and silver/black splatter (Ozzy Osbourne's website). All versions include only performances from Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath.
Two CD editions will also be available: a standard two-disc set at all retailers and an Amazon exclusive with unique artwork.
The track list for both vinyl and CD versions includes:
- "I Don't Know" (Ozzy Osbourne)
- "Mr. Crowley" (Ozzy Osbourne)
- "Suicide Solution" (Ozzy Osbourne)
- "Mama, I'm Coming Home" (Ozzy Osbourne)
- "Crazy Train" (Ozzy Osbourne)
- "War Pigs" (Black Sabbath)
- "N.I.B." (Black Sabbath)
- "Iron Man" (Black Sabbath)
- "Paranoid" (Black Sabbath)
A live version of "Mr. Crowley" from the film is streaming now.
All editions are available for pre-order.
A deluxe box set is scheduled for release April 27. It will add a third LP with live performances from guest artists at the 2025 show, though the lineup has not been announced. The box set includes a third Blu-ray disc with extra footage, CDs, a hardback book, an Ozzy Osbourne pendant necklace, a commemorative numbered ticket, and a poster print. Pre-orders are open for the deluxe edition.
Will you be adding this release to your collection, or are you waiting to see which guest artists appear on the deluxe set?
