Roger Waters Announces 2027 'Legacy' Tour Led by Son Harry Waters

Roger Waters has announced "Legacy," a new tour for 2027 that will celebrate the music and visual world of Pink Floyd's most famous years.

Waters created the show, but he will not perform. Instead, his son Harry Waters, a veteran touring musician, pianist, and composer, will lead the band.

"These songs have meant so much to so many people for so many years, and I'm excited for audiences to come together and experience them live again," Roger Waters said in a statement. "Harry has assembled a terrific band, and I can't wait for fans around the world to see the special show we've created together."

Harry Waters said that "Legacy" will be a new chapter in his lifelong connection with Pink Floyd's music.

"I fell in love with the music immediately," Harry Waters said. "It really had an impact on me, even without any bias because it was my dad's music. I still love it deeply to this day. Collaborating with Dad on this new production is such an honor, and I'm grateful to have the opportunity to bring this music to fans old and new around the world."

Harry Waters will be joined by a 10-piece band for the tour, performing selections from Pink Floyd albums including "The Dark Side of the Moon," "Wish You Were Here," "Animals," and "The Wall." After a long search, Clifton David Broadbridge was chosen as lead vocalist to perform Roger Waters' original parts.

The Legacy tour is set to begin Feb. 15 in Columbus, Georgia, and will travel across North America, with stops in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Baltimore, Los Angeles and more. The tour is scheduled to end Sept. 25 in St. Louis.
