Judas Priest Announces 2027 Festival Dates and Vows to Keep Touring

Judas Priest has announced its first performances for 2027.

The band will play two major festivals next year. Judas Priest will join the lineup at Tons of Rock in Oslo, Norway, scheduled for June 23-26. Other acts include Motley Crue, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Gwar and Turnstile.

The band is also set to headline the Tuska festival in Helsinki, Finland, from July 2-4. Lorna Shore, Children of Bodom and The Devil Wears Prada are also on the bill.

These festival announcements come just days after Judas Priest wrapped up its 2026 European tour. The 27-show run took the group to 14 countries, including England, France, Germany, Spain and Italy.

Bassist Ian Hill and singer Rob Halford are now in their mid-70s. Some fans have raised questions about how long the band can keep touring, given the demands of their shows and travel schedule. Halford has repeatedly said he has no plans to retire.

"I'm here to do something that I'm blessed and grateful to have to do," Halford said in 2025. "This voice, it's still doing the business. It's not really going to some of the places I wish it would. But it's still doing the business. And, like I say, that desire for me has never left. I've been clean and sober 36, 38 years - who's counting? My drug is getting on that stage. That's my drug. I get my kicks, if that's the right word, euphemism of what I'm talking about. I need to do it, man. I need to do it. It's important to me. It's what drives me. It's what I thrive on. So, as long as I'm here and as long as I've got the voice and the physical ability, I ain't stopping, man. I'm not stopping."
