Sammy Hagar, Rick Springfield Announce Six-Date Summer 2026 Tour

Sammy Hagar and Rick Springfield will team up for a six-date tour this summer, beginning June 13 at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater in St. Louis. The tour is scheduled to wrap up June 24 at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Mass.

Hagar's run continues his recent Best of All Worlds tours, which highlight his decade as Van Halen's lead singer. He will be joined by fellow Van Halen alumnus Michael Anthony, guitarist Joe Satriani, and drummer Kenny Aronoff. For this tour, the group will also feature keyboardist Gregg Phillinganes, who will perform in place of Ray Thistlethwayte.

Hagar also announced two additional solo dates without Springfield, set for June 26 and 27 at the MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Md.

Hagar and Springfield's careers have been intertwined since 1981, when Springfield scored a Top 10 hit with a cover of Hagar's 1978 single, "I've Done Everything for You." Despite the cover's chart success, Springfield said in a 2019 interview that he prefers Hagar's original version: "I may be prettier than you," Springfield told Hagar, "but you've got a way better voice."

The two teamed up in 2020 to release a line of rums. In a 2021 interview, Hagar said they had hoped to tour together and had recorded a song titled "Party at the Beach Bar."

"It is so badass, I can see it being the theme of a tour for me or him or both of us," Hagar said. "What we really want to do - our managers are good friends, we're good friends, our fans are friends, we have everything in common - I think we're trying to tour together."
