NEW YORK - Twisted Sister announced Tuesday that they will return to the road for a series of 2026 shows, with Sebastian Bach stepping in as lead singer following Dee Snider's retirement.
The band revealed four upcoming dates for late summer and early fall: Sept. 4 in Palmer, Alaska, at the Borealis Theatre (previously announced); Sept. 12 in Durant, Oklahoma, at the Choctaw Grand Theatre; Oct. 8 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, at the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino; and Oct. 10 in Windsor, Ontario, at The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor.
Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday. Presale begins Wednesday with the code "TWISTED2026." Additional information is available at Twisted Sister's official website.
Twisted Sister announced plans last September to reunite for a 50th anniversary tour in 2026, a decade after retiring from live performances. The band later canceled those plans last month, citing Snider's "health challenges" and his "sudden and unexpected resignation."
Guitarists Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda confirmed in March that the band would move forward with the anniversary tour, featuring Bach as lead vocalist.
"Twisted Sister members Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda are thrilled to announce that iconic vocalist and frontman Sebastian Bach will be fronting the band for a handful of select dates this fall," the band said in a statement. "These appearances do not affect or conflict with Sebastian's current or future solo touring schedule, which remains fully intact."
The 2026 Twisted Sister lineup will also include bassist Russell Pzutto, who played in Snider's solo band, and former Ace Frehley drummer Joey Cassata.
Bach, a longtime fan of Twisted Sister, posted on social media, "I am in shock. I am the lead singer of Twisted Sister. I keep saying that over and over to myself and anybody else who will listen today. I am absolutely honored and overjoyed to pay tribute to the legacy of some of my favorite music and musicians of my whole life."
Bach has performed Twisted Sister's "I Wanna Rock" at recent solo shows.
