Spin Doctors Announce 35th Anniversary Tour Celebrating 'Pocket Full of Kryptonite'

Spin Doctors will mark the 35th anniversary of their 1991 album "Pocket Full of Kryptonite" with a string of live shows starting in February.

The concerts will feature the band performing the full album in order, along with other songs from their nearly 40-year career. The tour begins Feb. 18 in Indianapolis and includes 12 dates. Stops include Irving Plaza in New York City and Paradise Rock Club in Boston, where the tour ends March 20.

"Pocket Full of Kryptonite" was the band's major label debut and reached the anniversary milestone in August. The album features hits like "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong" and "Two Princes." In a recent interview, vocalist Chris Barron said the band faced pressure from their label to edit songs for radio, but chose to support each other and keep their creative vision.

"We could not be more grateful for the longevity of 'Pocket Full of Kryptonite,'" drummer Aaron Comess said in a press release. "We all truly enjoy playing this collection of songs together after all these years. It's going to be a blast to celebrate 35 years together."

The band released "Face Full of Cake," their first studio album in 12 years, on Capitol Records in 2025. They have continued to tour, sharing bills with Blues Traveler and Gin Blossoms.
