Police Officer Acquitted in Freddie Gray Case



Baltimore officer Edward M. Nero was found not guilty of all charges in the arrest of Freddie Gray. Judge Barry G. Williams acquitted the officer of second-degree assault, two counts of misconduct and of reckless endangerment. According to The New York Times, Nero was not charged in Gray's death since he was noted on the scene in the early stages of Gray's arrest.
