X-Plane 12 pilots can now experience one of the world's busiest aviation gateways following the release of Axonos' Tokyo Haneda Airport (RJTT), available through Orbx Direct.
Haneda is Tokyo's primary airport and a vital hub for domestic and international travel across Japan and the wider Asia-Pacific region. Its extensive airline operations, waterfront location and complex terminal layout make it an excellent destination for everything from short domestic hops to long-haul international flights.
Axonos has recreated the airport specifically for X-Plane 12, bringing Haneda's distinctive artificial-island setting to life with a custom terrain mesh. The scenery also features hundreds of custom-modelled buildings and airport assets, authentic Japanese ground markings and signage, detailed surroundings and custom lighting throughout the terminals and airport facilities.
Pilots approaching Haneda will also find recognizable points of interest around the airport, including the Tower of Winds, observation decks and the bridge approach. These additions should help make arrivals more immersive-especially during nighttime operations when the custom lighting package is on full display.
