ChasePlane and Flow Now Work in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Career Mode

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 pilots flying Career Mode just got a little more room in the cockpit.
Parallel 42's ChasePlane and Flow are now compatible with Career Mode in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, following changes introduced with Sim Update 5. That means two of the most popular utility add-ons from Parallel 42 can now be used inside one of MSFS 2024's biggest gameplay features.
The change comes after Asobo opened support for toolbar add-ons in Career Mode. Previously, Career Mode limited access to certain in-sim tools, which meant products like ChasePlane and Flow could not fully operate there. Parallel 42 had already noted in April that Sim Update 5 brought a new camera API and unlocked toolbar add-ons for Career Mode, calling it a major step forward for ChasePlane in MSFS 2024.
For simmers, the practical impact is pretty straightforward: ChasePlane can now help manage camera views and cockpit perspectives while flying Career Mode missions, while Flow brings its customizable in-sim interface into that same environment.
ChasePlane is designed as a full camera system replacement for Microsoft Flight Simulator, offering camera control, customization, and physics beyond the default simulator camera tools. Flow, meanwhile, is widely used as a customizable toolbar and workflow utility, giving pilots quicker access to actions, tools, and shortcuts during flight.
The news is especially helpful for Career Mode pilots who want a more polished and flexible flying experience. Whether you are hauling cargo, building company reputation, flying medevac-style missions, or grinding through certification flights, being able to use familiar add-ons can make the cockpit feel less locked down and a lot more personal.
Pilots will need to make sure both ChasePlane and Flow are updated to their latest versions for the new compatibility to work properly. Parallel 42 says users can download the latest ChasePlane Manager through their Parallel 42 Store account.
It is a small change with a big quality-of-life ripple. Career Mode has become one of the defining pieces of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and letting third-party tools into that space gives simmers more control over how they fly, film, and manage their time in the virtual cockpit.
For pilots already using Parallel 42 tools, this update makes Career Mode feel a little less like a sealed hangar and a little more like home.
