FSDreamTeam Keeps GSX Pro Rolling with Big Couatl Updates, Smarter Towing, and Faster Hotfixes

FSDreamTeam has been busy in the maintenance hangar, and the latest Couatl Live Update Notes show GSX Pro getting a healthy dose of new features, quality-of-life improvements, and bug fixes across several recent updates. The newest release, Version 3.9.3 dated April 18, 2026, introduces one of the biggest convenience upgrades yet: automatic hotfix updates for GSX Pro. That means smaller fixes can now be delivered between full releases, with the MSFS toolbar notifying users when a hotfix is ready to install and restart.

Another standout feature in the latest update is the ability to re-plan towing directly from the pause menu. While a tow is paused, users can jump into the airport map, generate a fresh route from the tug's current position, and edit the taxi path or even choose a completely different parking destination. FSDreamTeam also says ground vehicles now move with more natural paths, reducing the awkward zig-zag behavior many simmers have seen around gates and service roads.

The improvements do not stop there. GSX's 2D pushback quick-edit map is now taxiway-aware, which helps keep generated routes on actual pavement at more complex airports. Airport map performance has also been improved with rendering upgrades, and the route editor now uses simpler single-click controls for marking taxiway segments as preferred or blocked. In plain English: less wrestling with the map, more getting your aircraft where it needs to go.

Version 3.9.2, released on April 15, 2026, added another major batch of features, including taxi route customization on the airport map, push-in to park for tail-in parking, and the ability to pause and resume pushback or towing. That update also brought a distance ruler to the route editors and a configurable menu timeout, while GSX Pro gained better crash recovery through toolbar-based auto-restarter integration.

Go back one more release to Version 3.9.1 from April 11, 2026, and you can see where this towing evolution really started. That update introduced push-in towing service, gate-to-gate towing, adjustable pushback speed, and broader menu navigation improvements. FSDreamTeam also added support for the PMDG 737-700 Passengers version in MSFS 2024 under seated passengers support, along with a long list of fixes aimed at stability and aircraft handling.

Across all three updates, the patch notes show a clear theme: GSX is getting smarter, smoother, and more resilient. From improved tug logic and cleaner vehicle departures to fixes for crashes, stuck services, and menu issues, these updates are not just cosmetic polish. They are the kind of under-the-hood changes that make day-to-day sim operations feel more believable and less likely to fall apart right when you are trying to look professional at the gate.

For GSX Pro users, this latest run of Couatl updates looks like a welcome step forward, especially for anyone who spends a lot of time operating in busy airports or using advanced turnaround features. In other words, your tug just got a little smarter, your routes got a lot cleaner, and Couatl is learning a few new tricks while the rest of us are still trying to taxi straight after midnight.
