And his grandson Lonnie who he is so proud of. DJ Bernard B has been spinning since 1984 and got his start at Skate City Duval Jacksonville, Fla. Began to play all the Local Clubs in Duval. Southernlistic Music was started in 2005, After taking a hiatus in 1995. To run his hair salon, Southernlistic Hair. Bernard B was back in front of the DJ community. SouthernlisticRadio.com is one of the hottest internet radio shows on the net. Before Iheart or any other Internet in 2009. When he's not in the club or on the air. He's Touring as the DJ for the Bass SuperStars 95 South, 69 Boyz, JT Money of Poison Clan, & Splack Pack. Promotion events like Rewind Rewired are formally Known as Rewind Old School. We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Defiantly, it wasn't a smooth road, with many challenges, learning and pathing a path that had never been traveled. Many software and platforms were not intended for DJs or streaming when it started. I started Steaming in 2008. The fact is there was NO, I mean NO DJs stream. I stumbled on it. If you do the research, you'll see there was no Platform. Ustream was a business meeting platform for me and some friends from other states. I started working on it. I was the only person in Fla. It's deeper.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Southernlistic Music Group?
Started Southernlistic Music Group to help other DJs and promote events. Southernlistic began with one business, then later started Southernlistic Radio in 2008, which led to Southernlistic Music Group in 2015. SMG has so many proud moments and DJs that have come through our group and internet radio station.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Very artist growing up always loved music and art. I was a band member from 7th grade till Graduation. I attended Ribault Jr Ribault Sr, DA School of the Arts, The Drum Major at Edward Waters College(University).
