Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine is looking for "respect" in his next contract. Speaking at the Olympics, LaVine said "I outplayed my contract. I've been very loyal to Chicago. I like Chicago. I just want my respect. If that's now or later, it's something we've got to work out internally."
LaVine is in the final year of the four-year, $78 million contract he signed in 2018. That deal was initially signed with the Sacramento Kings, but the Bulls matched the offer sheet to retain LaVine. Chicago initially acquired LaVine in 2017 when Jimmy Butler was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
