The Washington Football Team, led by backup quarterback Taylor Heinicke, got their first win of the season Thursday night, 30-29 over the Giants. Washington's Dustin Hopkins kicked a 43-yard field goal with no time remaining, on his second attempt at a game-winning kick. He missed from 48 but the Giants' Dexter Lawrence was flagged for offside. Hopkins then converted on the second chance. Giants quarterback Daniel Jones had quite the game. He set a franchise record with 95 rushing yards, and he also threw for 249 yards and touchdown. He had a 58-yard TD run in the second quarter nullified by a holding penalty. The holding call, Lawrence's penalty and a dropped pass in the end zone by Darius Slayton all contributed greatly to the loss. Click below to read more:
