A playoff atmosphere filled Wintrust Arena on Tuesday night as the Chicago Sky hosted the Seattle Storm in their regular-season home finale. An entertaining contest did not leave the home fans disappointed despite the Storm topping the Sky by a final score of 111-100. It was an emotional evening for the Chicago basketball fans as WNBA great Sue Bird played what likely was her final game in the city of Chicago. The four-time champion led her team on a historic night that saw the Storm dish out 37 assists, which is now a WNBA record. Bird finished the game with a team-high eight assists. Courtney Vandersloot and Kahleah Copper helped propel a Sky comeback in the second half. The home team eventually cut the lead to single digits a few times, but it ultimately was not enough to surpass the Storm. Chicago''s All-Star duo combined for 45 points on the night.
