It Was All A Dream

It Was All A Dream

*The Genesis of SlaughtaHouze Entertainment*

Kevin Solomon, aka Vic New The Distro, embarked on his hip-hop journey in 1986 on Houston's vibrant southside. His passion for the genre led him to freestyle on chopped and screwed mixtapes in 2000, marking the beginning of his career in Houston's hip-hop scene. This creative outlet ultimately gave birth to SlaughtaHouze Entertainment, his own imprint.

*Rise and Evolution*

Through underground mixtapes and independent recording projects, SlaughtaHouze gained local recognition. However, balancing artistic pursuits with family responsibilities forced the imprint to temporarily cease operations. Undeterred, Solomon continued honing his craft behind the scenes, mixing and mastering projects for emerging artists.

*Revitalization and Expansion*

With strategic timing, Solomon relaunched his career with "SlaughtaHouze Live," a dynamic radio show and podcast that provided a platform for independent artists to showcase their talents. The show's success led to creative differences with network management, prompting Solomon to establish SlaughtaHouze Radio. This radio station became a hub for hip-hop artists and radio shows, further solidifying SlaughtaHouze's reputation.

*The SlaughtaHouze Network*

The next phase of evolution was the launch of The SlaughtaHouze Network, a streaming service that cemented the brand's position in the music industry. Today, SlaughtaHouze is a multifaceted platform, nurturing artistic talent and connecting with audiences worldwide. Solomon's dedication to hip-hop and innovative spirit has been the driving force behind the brand's growth and success.
