Eminem: Tupac Is The Greatest Songwriter Of All Time
Eminem is thought of by many rap fans as a top-five rapper, dead or alive. People have debated this hypothetical list for years. However, on a recent Shade45 radio special called 'Music To Be Quarantined By', the Detroit MC revealed Tupac Shakur as his pick for the greatest songwriter of all time. Eminem, a gifted songwriter himself revealed,
"OK, this next song is from an artist who I feel like might be the greatest songwriter of all time."
Slim Shady, who recently caught an intruder in his living room while his security team slept through the alarm, addressed critics,
"Debate what you want about MC skills and all that, because he had that too."

The rapper proceeded to make his case,
"This is one of them songs by Tupac that, to me, he was showing you, 'I can write heartfelt sh*t and I can write lyrical, crazy sh*t too.'"
Before playing Pac's 'If I Die Tonight', off the multi-platinum, classic 1995 album, 'Me Against The World', Eminem recited the first few lines of the song.
"They say p*ssy and paper is poetry, power and pistols. Plotting on murdering motherf*ckers 'fore they get you. Like the play on the p'words and all that sh*t and how he was doing it was so crazy. Mixed with the feel that Tupac could give you, which is constantly why I feel like he was saying, 'Can you feel me?'"
The D-12 rapper has often credited Tupac as one of his favorites. He added,
"You felt 'Pac. You can't just listen to 'Pac, you feel 'Pac. If you listen to him, you gonna feel him."
Tupac, who was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2017 by Snoop Dogg, released four albums before his death in 1996. Seven were posthumously released, the first being The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory, (recorded while he was alive).
Eminem produced the 2004 posthumous Tupac album, 'Loyal to the Game'. The platinum-selling project was based around previously unreleased verses from the late rapper. One of Tupac's most popular records was 1995's 'Dear Mama' from the multi-platinum 'Me Against the World' album.
Though his recording career lasted just five years, Tupac Amaru Shakur (1971-1996) is one of the most popular artists in history, with over 75 million records sold worldwide.
