On Monday [May 17th}, Ozzy Osbourne took to his Sirius XM show Ozzy Speaks, and said:
"Sharon has been going to the mill lately."
He proceeded to share with his co-host, Billy Morrison,
"She's been through the mill of it and, you know. All I can tell you if my wife was slightly racist, I'll tell you she's possibly the most un-racist person I've ever met, and I'm not just saying that."
He revealed Sharon Osbourne's 'devastation' in the wake of the race controversy. Before she left The Talk, Sharon Osbourne had a heated discussion overher support for Piers Morgan amid his alleged racist remarks about Meghan Markle.
"I feel like I'm about to be put in the electric chair because I have a friend who many people think is a racist, so that makes me a racist."
After departing the show, CBS made this statement:
"Sharon's behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10th episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace."
On the Sirius XM show, Ozzy Osbourne said Sharon's reaction was:
She was like, "Why are they saying this about me?"
"It's still an unpleasant issue...it's one of them things once you're accused of it, people tar you with a brush and it's very hard to shake off."
He described the incident as "another bump in the road," and added, "we'll get through this."
