Dolly Parton's movie career is getting a special celebration as AMC Theatres prepares a retrospective featuring some of her best-known films. ???? Titles include Steel Magnolias and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, giving audiences another opportunity to revisit Dolly's work beyond the recording studio. ???? Her story is also still headed to Broadway through DOLLY: A True Original Musical. ???? The production uses many of her biggest songs along with new music she wrote and is scheduled to begin previews in December before officially opening in January 2027. ?? Following her death, the stage production now becomes another major project carrying her life, music and story forward.
