Ella Langley has officially made Billboard Hot 100 history with "Choosin' Texas," as the breakout hit continues an extraordinary run at the top of the chart.

The song has now spent 20 weeks at No. 1, making it the longest-running non-holiday chart-topper in the Hot 100's 68-year history. That pushes "Choosin' Texas" past the previous 19-week runs of Shaboozey's "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" and Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus' "Old Town Road."

Langley co-wrote the song with Miranda Lambert, Luke Dick and Joybeth Taylor, with Lambert also helping produce the track. The collaboration has become a defining moment in Langley's career while further expanding country music's presence on mainstream pop charts.

The success has also extended beyond the United States. "Choosin' Texas" has reached No. 1 in the United Kingdom, giving Langley a major international crossover hit and adding another milestone to the song's historic run.
