They also added a little humor to the celebration by referencing people who once predicted their marriage would last only three weeks. Instead, Terry and Rebecca have now been married for more than 13,500 days.

The couple married in 1989 and share five grown children. Over the years, they have also been unusually open about the difficult periods in their relationship and the work it took to rebuild their marriage.

Rather than presenting their relationship as perfect, Terry and Rebecca have talked about the importance of communication, forgiveness, accountability, and continuing to choose each other through challenging seasons.
