During a September 24 appearance on The Diary of a CEO podcast with Steven Bartlett, the comedian reflected on being featured in Drake's 2020 "Laugh Now Cry Later" music video.Before the appearance, Druski had already built a strong following online, but he says major brands weren't taking him seriously financially.




Companies would offer free products and event access instead of paid deals.After Drake's co-sign, everything changed.Druski says the exposure gave him credibility in the entertainment and corporate worlds, helping turn his viral success into a real business. Bigger partnerships followed, including opportunities with major companies such as Nike and Google.




Appearing alongside Drake, Lil Durk and stars including Kevin Durant, Odell Beckham Jr. and Marshawn Lynch also introduced Druski to an even larger mainstream audience.Druski recalled Drake telling him he was meant to help lead this generation of comedy.
