Tornado Watch is in effect for much of Northwest Ohio until 11pm

URGENT WEATHER ALERT

A tornado watch has been issued for much of Northwest Ohio, including the Village of Grand Rapids and surrounding areas in Lucas, Wood, Fulton, and Henry counties.

Severe storms are expected this afternoon and evening. These storms may produce damaging wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour, large hail, and isolated tornadoes. Heavy rainfall could also lead to localized flooding.

The most important time to stay weather aware is between 5 PM and 8 PM tonight.

Stay alert, have multiple ways to receive warnings, and be prepared to take shelter quickly if warnings are issued.
