Birmingham man charged in spate of Vestavia, Leeds, Jefferson County car break-ins

Savonte Deandre Bailey, 25, is charged with 11 counts of unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle, converting a pistol to a machine gun, certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm, first-degree unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
