Firstclasse won Fleetmodel Of The Year!

This past Sunday 7/21/2019 in Charlotte NC I was presented with an award. I won Fleet Model Of The Year! I was so busy talking with my family members ( the fleet organization) that I didn't even know what was happening. I gave a speech then but later sat back and just rewound the event in my mind. Later wishing that I was more prepared to give the proper thanks. I have been a member with this organization for over 10 years and I will say it has been one of the best decisions that I have made. I came on the scene just a model with no real direction or goals in the industry just knew how to smile and throw my hand on my hip(which is still my favorite pose, don't judge me lol). I had no idea that years later I would be a model who's hosted over 40 mixtapes. Been published 17 times and made the cover 3 times and the centerfold a few times as well. Not to mention I'm also a radio personality, Podcast host, blogger, red carpet interviewer, actress and so on. Never in a million years would I have thought that little ole me would really accomplish this! I sincerely and wholeheartedly give thanks to the FleetDjs and Fleet organization for giving me that extra push. It's been times that I wanted to quit and just stick with my 9-5 but just like family when I fell into a rut they were there to pull me out, and I'm forever grateful. Life happens to everyone but to have other like minded individuals in your direct circle ready to give you that extra push is always a bonus. The words Love, Loyalty and Family go hand and hand with me. When I say the FLEETNATION is my family the rest fall into order. I love fleet and I'm ever so thankful to be recognized as this year's Model of the Year! Thank you to everyone who voted for me! Thank you so much! Firstclasse

Hello everyone!!! I'm back Did you miss me? Before I get into this blog let me scream Happy New Year to you all! I wish you peace,love,good health and prosperity..along with all of that other good stuff! I'm so happy to be back in action! I went on a brief hiatus seeking mental clarity and just worked on myself a bit. Oftentimes we get so involved with others that we don't spend enough time on ourselves. I've adapted the "Me Therapy" into my daily regimen and it has helped me so much. I know you're next question is what the heck is me therapy? Well I actually just came up with that name lol. I sat down with a planner and blocked out an hour a day to focus on projects and activities that felt good and created a sense of peace. First all phones, computers, TVs etc would be turned off. You can close your eyes and meditate (don't fall asleep) or simple yoga coupled with a breathing exercise. You can also reflect on your daily activities and exhale. The key is to essentially find your peace. Today's society is surrounded by so many applications that can alter or replace ones reality. It's healthy to take a break and just switch your focus. That's what I've done and y'all I feel fantastic! Remember back in the days when we didn't have much other than MySpace but still did most of our communications over the phone or face to face?Those were the good ole days right? Let's get that back! If you feel overwhelmed or stressed out, Do me a favor. Step back from social media just for a short time. Focus on yourself, family and loved ones. Work on projects and keep yourself busy. Pick up new hobbies and enjoy a few hours a day doing this. Let me know if it works for you. I guarantee it will. Snapchat may go public..

Reports indicate that a few days ago that Snapchat otherwise known as Snap Inc. Alledgedly filed to go public. Share trading is set to start the beginning of next year and it will be valued at around $25 billion. That would make it one of the largest IPOs since 2014.Not bad for a company that denied Facebooks bid $3 billion to take it over. Snapchat has not officially agreed or denied such allegations...so we must stay tuned and play with the flower head filters in the meantime.

Greetings!As you all know approximately a week or so ago Instagram released a new feature on their app that allowed other users to view your pictures and videos very similar to the Snap chat app! The instagram users immediately started to use the new feature. They went as far as calling it names like Insta-Snap and other acronyms alike. I use both applications. Instagram drew me because of the opportunity to view,comment like and follow everyone! Snapchat came along and initially it was not as popular. Just like any other "new kid on the block" people were apprehensive to add another picture app. I myself took awhile to upload it. But once I did, I fell in love with the goofy filters and the location stamps etc. Then the big debate came, which app is better. I went and posed my question on Twitter giving my followers the opportunity to vote for the app they liked. This has been on my mind for some time and I thought I would share it with you. I've noticed a lot in today's society there are so many "profound" or "inspirational" people who speak good words and attempt to seem as though they do "good works" but in real life they are frauds. There are a lot of false prophets, they have been spoken about and referenced to for centuries. I think the thing that disturbs me the most is when the biggest dog tells you how to spot another cheat or how a person who speaks about supporting and uplifting one another in real life turns out to be the biggest hater ever. I think we as a people need to research more on who we listen too; because in today's society these false prophets are all on social media. These people have been brainwashing you through their good words and profound thoughts. Some even try to hit your pockets by selling paraphernalia; Tee- shirts, books,seminars, conference calls etc. I guess my reason in pointing all of this out is so you can just be careful on who you follow because everyone is not meant to be a leader. More importantly if the selected Leader is lost, what does that make you? That is one to grow on... Firstclasse

Shout out to everyone who has gone down this path with me. You have watched the transitions of my career. I started off modeling, then acting and most recently I have established a platform on the radio. I love to have my hands in everything!! I am honored and blessed to have been nominated for an award recognizing my craft development in radio. I started off doing the "what's the 411" segment on dj Sean money's radio show. I then did the same segment with different content on DJ Crisco's show. A year later I asked the CEO of the fleet dj's Klassik if I could have my own radio show. A few months ago I had the pleasure in interviewing Tiffany on my radio show, Firstclasse Is In Session. Tiffany was a pleasure to have on the show. For those of you who missed the show; Ms.Maiyon told us that her new focus is on cooking! Since then, we have sat down with Tiffany to discuss her new journey more in depth. Ms Tiffany or chef tiffany (lol) how long have you been cooking?I've been cooking ever since I was a child, probably at the age of 5 or 6 I remember discovering an interest for cooking.

Who taught you how to cook? I learned how to cook from my mother and my grandmother. As a little girl I used to sit in the kitchen and mimic what I saw them do while preparing dinner.

Being a model, actress etc has to be hard. How do you eat while on the road? Ugh...it's extremely hard to try to eat healthy especially since I've been on a health kick lately, so it's really time consuming because I pay extra attention to what I put into my body. I will take an hour if I have to to search for an organic market so I can find lunch, dinner or etc.

Would you describe your cooking style as being healthy or just good ole down south soul food cooking? It used to be southern cuisine, but as my lifestyle has changed I've also adjusted my cooking style to reflect that. However there are several tasty, and flavorful food options you can great for yourself to satisfy your pallet.

Can you please share a recipe with us? One of my favorite recipes that gotten me in front of the Master Chef judges is my absolutely amazing Ginger Paprika Chicken with Roasted Sweet Potatoes2 lbs chicken ( dark meat ) 1 small vidalia onion 2 tspns chopped garlic 1 tblspn fresh ginger 2tspn smoked paprika 1 tspn salt 2 tspn ground black pepper 1 cup brown sugar 1 stick of butter4 whole sweet potatoesDirections: Clean and season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, then massage in fresh Ginger under the skin set a side. Heat sauce pan on medium, melt stick of butter add brown sugar, onion and garlic. Sauteed on low for 5 minutes. Add chicken, cover and simmer on medium for 1 hour, stirring constantly to avoid any sticking. Once done simmering, remove only chicken from saucepan ( leave broth) place chicken on baking rack or sheet, place in broiler for 45-60 seconds or until desired crispness is desired. Brush or pour remaining glaze over chicken. Roasted Sweet Potatoes: Preheat oven to 350 Massage desired amount of butter over potatoes, wrap each individually in aluminium foil. Bake for 20 minutes, unwrap split down the middle sprinkle with desired seasoning, place in broiler for 1-3 minutes Voila Dinner is Served

With winter leaving and spring arriving the after affects on your skin can be brutal! I'm some climates( especially where I reside) you could slather on Vaseline go out in the elements and still get dry.. But I have a great tip..EXFOLIATE! Exfoliating the skin removes old skin cells on the outer most surface. Then your skin is returned to its normal state. Don't be fooled. Its great to EXFOLIATE your entire body, not just your face. You can achieve these results by using salt or sugar scrubs. I have taken the liberty of providing you with my sugar scrub recipe below. It may smell edible but please don't intake it. Use this scrub in the shower and when you pat your skin dry immediately replenish the moisture with a body oil or intensive moisturizing lotion. My fab is Vaseline intesive care. Let me know how this works for you...It makes my skin feel baby soft. Who wouldn't want that? Lol Besos.. FirstClasse Sugar scrub recipe 1 cup sugar or other granulated sweetener 1 cup oil of choice 2-4 drops of quality essential oils Method 1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. 2. Stir to combine. 3. Store in a glass container (essential oils will damage the plastic and metals change the properties of the oils). Note.. 1. You can, of course, use other granulated sweeteners. I just chose white sugar since it works well and is pocket book friendly. 2. Any oil will work, but olive has a stronger smell, so stay away from that.we don't want you to smell unattractive. I use a good quality oil. That is important since some of it will remain on your skin. 3. For essentials oils, there are so many wonderful scents and healing properties to choose from! How about lavender, citrus (grapefruit, lemon, lime, orange), lemongrass, peppermint, ginger..... Don't skimp, make sure you choose a high quality oil.It will cost more, since you are leaving this on your skin you deserve it!

Hello everyone! Back in January I blogged about my new diet and exercise regimen. I will say that in the beginning things were rough. I didn't workout daily nor did I get the right amount of rest. Then out of nowhere I got a spark of energy I believe what motivated me was just simply looking in the mirror and being unhappy with the image that was reflected. That is when I went on diet overload and made sure to at least do some cardo every day. I completely cut white bread out of my diet. I continued to eat turkey and fish; and didnt drink anything other than water and ginger tea. I've learned some new tricks that I want to share. Now I have replaced sour cream in recipes that call for such with non flavored greek yogurt. It taste great! For years I said I couldn't eat yogurt. Not only does it taste good but its better for you.I also use ginger in everything! It's the best! It helps aide in proper digestion and has various healthy properties that can contribute your overall good health. I'm pleased to announce that I am down 13 pounds and have lost 3 inches around my waste! I've met my goal now it must be maintained! Please tweet me or ig me and let me know about your progress! I have always wrote down what I felt and how much a situation has made me grow. That's the way I reflect and comprehend better.....I write. How long have you been working on this project? It's been since 2013 Any tips for people who aspire to be authors? My tip for future authors is WRITE! WRITE! WRITE! You can do it, I believe in you! We need more authors to show us the world through their eyes. Different perspectives enlarged your world. We need our world enlarged. Do you plan on coming out with a sequel? Definitely, but it's gonna be a movie 1st. I plan on getting a the actors to play their own self. Is this book fiction or non-fiction? Its non fiction.... I went through every word and more. I tell my story of being involved in the music industry. It's crazy like a movie 4 murders, betrayal and page turning stories. What is your favorite part (without giving away any juicy details) My favorite part is when I realized I was given CPR to a man in a pool of blood but not realizing the guy was shot by a associate of Nelly record label. I was associated and promoting that label at the time. It's my favorite part because I woke up from the illusion of loving money and being loyal to a brand, or clique that doesn't appreciate your loyalty. It was last WAKE UP call.
