I have been there and felt super uncomfortable as I imagined everyone would be looking at my stomach. The truth is people see it but in most cases it is not as bad as you may think. Sometimes we are our own worst critics. I will address some of the most common reasons women and men experience "Belly Bloat". Constipation (what causes constipation) You are not eating enough fiber (eat more fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, & some whole grains) You are not drinking enough water (aim to drink half of your body weight in ounces daily, you weigh 140lbs set a daily water goal of 70oz) You are not being active enough (get moving, take the stairs, a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise a day five-six times a week) These are all things that YOU have control over! Everyday make better choices to live a healthier life. Slow Down (you are eating too fast) I know we are all in a rush and on the go but each meal should take you about 20-30 minutes to consume Eating slower most times helps you to eat less, because you are able to enjoy your food Sugary Drink Overload (loads of sugar) Slow down or stop the soda (opt for water, green tea, peppermint tea instead) Juice is a big culprit of aiding in belly bloat ( sugar=belly bloat) Salt Monster (control your sodium) Avoid process/packaged food as much as possible Consider keeping your sodium intake to a maximum of 1000MG a day if not less Expand your taste buds to try new foods & new seasonings other than salt Try This (Belly Bloat Fighter) 8 ounces of room temperature water, 2 tablespoons of organic apple cider vinegar, a pinch of cinnamon, and optional a pinch of cayenne pepper Infused water with 1 lemon, cucumber sliced, a few sliced strawberries, and some mint leaves (let it sit overnight in the fridge & consume the next day) 8 ounces of warm lemon water Coach T's Fat Blaster Drink.... I do not knock any of these products because I have seen people lose weight using these different products but, I have become very concerned about rapid weight loss and how many people gain the weight back. The reason people who use such products gain their weight back is because they decided to take the quick fix but never really changed their mentality. I am a coach who believes in motivating women and men to make real lifestyle changes and not just off them a quick overnight fix. Weight loss is about being healthy and completely changing the way that you live. It took years, months, and maybe even weeks to gain the weight and it will take time to get the weight off. Be patient and trust the process. It's not about being skinny, it's all about being healthy. I do not believe in dieting because one may feel restricted and have a behavioral relapse and feel like a failure when the consume anything other than "Diet Food". People who do fad diets or diets period live in a constant mode of fear and are afraid of food. My goals is to teach people all around the world a new principle. Learning to " Eat to Live & Not Live to Eat" many wonder what I mean by this statement. When you understand and began to really observe what foods you are putting inside of your body and how that food makes you feel, you get a better understanding of what food fuels your body and what food defuels your body. You have daily goals of accomplishing some sort of task and depending on what you put inside of your body you may or may not be able to physically achieve those goals. Diets don't help you understand WHY you overeat in the first place, so they don't get to the root of the issue. Diets also don't show you HOW to eat, or teach you how to form a healthy relationship with food and your body. Without those critical missing pieces of the weight-loss puzzle, you're going to struggle. The allure of dieting is everywhere, but diets-most of which only focus on WHAT to eat-not only create an obsessive relationship with food and throw your metabolism out of whack, they also set you up for failure and frustration. Obesity has really plagued our nation leading to Heart Disease, Acid Reflux, High Blood Pressure, Cancer, Sleep Apnea, Diabetes, and much more. It is time that we decide to take our lives back. Enjoy your life and try to live without all of the medicine and machines. In order to get there one must change their mindset. The five core concepts that I used to lose over 86 pounds in 10 months were Choice, Determination, Focus, Agility, and. Faith. Think about what those words mean to you and apply them to your journey. Don't start by changing what you eat; start by changing how you think. Do the mental work first. - Coach Taryn56039diets, food, weight loss, women, men
